Huntington Ravine

Location: Floor of the Ravine

At noon temperatures at the base of Huntington Ravine were mild and winds were calm. A general lack of snow in the ravine, and our forecast zone at large, means that a significant number of trees and boulders still remain uncovered. The meager snowpack is good news for climbers as the classic climbs in the ravine have yet to be filled in with snow.

The Sherburne Trail is skiable from Hermit Lake. However, the usual suspects, like Windy Corner and the lower third are still quite rocky.

Recreate safely out their folks and remember it’s only December, snow will come!
