We skied (well descended with skis on our feet) Diagonal from the top. The old crust layer was barely edgeable and had not yet started to soften. The new wind slabs were only a few inches deep on the north/skiers left side of the gulley and were well bonded to the previous crust. Around 1 PM this layer was tricky to ski as it was sticking even to well waxed new skis.
