Name: Jesse Freedman| NEM / Jones Snowboards
Location: 4150 Feet. West Facing Aspect (woods, lookers right)

Significant ground level faceting with reactivity around the Christmas Rain Crust.
-Light Snow (S1), Light Wind (L)
-CTM Q1 down 70cm, sudden collapse
-ECTN#24 down 50cm
-Layer of failure = 1mm solid faceted crystals
This confirmed the forecast of a persistent weak layer within skier triggering depth. This suggests problematic snowpack within any areas with shallower snow. The type of failure in our test suggests that a skier triggered avys of substantial size is possible.
