Multiple slides were observed on a tour around Rumford Whitecap. The South facing snowfield released (see reports from Zach McCarthy, and additional photos attached), but other South facing aspects even deep into the trees had slid. This pitch was around 1700′ off of a small diagonal ramp near the Black & White trail. The slides that we observed were largely to or near ground.

While breaking out the Black & White trail and on other unbroken spots, we could feel many whumps, and see the progression of the fracture from the motion of bushes.

When skiing on a lower angle North aspect, you could feel when another skier transited onto a contiguous slab.
