Although new snow has fallen since the 24th/25th rain event, the Sherburne Trail remains un-skiable. The top third of the trail is largely covered in 3-6 inches of light low density snow and some larger snow drifts. However, a combination of rock and ice lurks below the fluffy snow. The remaining two thirds of the trail is covered with a light dusting of snow. From the S-curves on the snow is crusty and thin. All water crossings remain open on the trail.
Please stay safe this New Year’s and remember to follow state and local health guidelines when recreating.
