Name: Ryan Lewthwaite| MWAC
Location: Lower Headwall

At 4100 feet this afternoon the temperature was 13.6F degrees. The clouds were increasing as well as the moderate westerly winds which were gusting to strong. Around 2:00pm snow showers were occurring with moments of S2 intensity, accompanied by blowing snow. The past two days of rain and warm temperatures allowed for significant snowpack melting. Surface conditions are refrozen water with a small dusting of new and drifting snow. Little to no snow coverage exists on the Sherburne Ski Trail.
